Cross country today was great! :) Felt so 'shuang' doing the run, especially liked the jungle run...all the oxyen and fresh air we need, not to mention the nice scenery! haha. Didn't know why I was so nervous at first though...paced with Jinger for a while, ...And, yup, I managed to reach my goal. Yeah! Got into the first 50. And, our class snatched the 1st, 2nd and 4th positions of the level. Cool or what? Geraldine, Jean and Vanessa Lim, respectivelt, I'm so proud of you people! :) Aiya, but Gage Brown came in second this year...we'll do better next year!
Oh, and I went out with Jinger, Vanessa Quek and the others to catch Over the Hedge. :) It was a fun movie. We actually bought an extra ticket at first...and didn't know what to do with it cos we couldn't refund it of sell it out. But, guess whtat? In the end, bet the manager took pity on us and actually refunded us! Must be God-planned. THANK YOU LORD! We enjoyed ourselves.
The exco hosted the Student Forum for the past three days. Woah! it was indeed tiring but the sessions really gave us a very good opportunity for us the interact with the students. The Sec one batch was the most fun! Betit's cos theay just came back from camp and were really hyped-up. We had some problems with the mike at first, so we made each class do a cheer. It was a great ice-breaker! And, throught these student forums, i've also seen how cool our Head Prefect, Khoo Wei Wey is! She can really control the crowd. Go girl! haha. Wanna thank God for watching over us, and leading us thoughout these sessions too.
This June hols are going to be really busy. But, I pray hard that even with the thousand and one things I'm involved in, I will still put God first in everything I do. Not let any other thing to take that fist place in my life. Here's a list of my June Hols activities. Take a look.

Didn't go for class reunion at Sentosa today,...knds regret thought I don't wanna admit. Heard that about half the class turned up. Felt really restless today,...now that i've got holidays, I feel like going to school! Ah, the irony! I don't really want to go to school on thursday, cos we'll be getting the results back. Bet I did really bad this time...
but i guess i'll have to accept whatever results i receive. I worked for them, though not hard enough. But they're the results that I deserve. If not for God backing me up,..I would probabliy have don'y even worse. I've got to be thankful to God for seeing me through the whole exam period. And, even sending friends to encourage me along the way. So here's a BIG thank you to Brenda and Jiexin for praying and encouraging me! Thank you for being there for me! And here's an even 'HUGE-ER' thank you to God for always always being there right beside me, even when I didn't even know.
There's this desire within me recently....I want to do something for God. Like serve Him in some ministry. It's like I want to do something for Him. Maybe that's why I was so excited to tabulate the results for the Spiritual Gifts Analysis we did during Sunday School...I want to know what I'm good at and use the gift that He has given me to serve Him. I scored highest on prophecy, it did come as a surprise...somehow I don;t really agree with it. I guess I'll have to be patient and fervent in prayer - seek directions in the Lord and not by my own. Yup, I'll do just that. And, I'll pray that whatever He show me to do or go I'll have the strength and courage through Him to do what He wills me to do.

last day of mid-years. Free finally, at last. Big and huge smiles! :D was so nervous and worried about history in the morning, luckily our self-sacrificial Wei Wey came to school...did the prize-giving in my place. Thank you WeiWey!! Jiexin was a great friend today too! She sorta tried to calm me down and even prayed for me. :0 felt better later, cos I knew God would be there for me. He saw me through countless exams, He was surely going to see me through this one too! Indeed, He did. God never fails. The reasons that led to the Revolution 1911 actually came out in the structured essay. Yeah, at least I knew how to do it. Studied hard for China, neglected Russia but luckily Collectivisation only came out for source-based. Even came up with this for China, take a look, might be helpful:
Fairy - Foreign intervention
Had - Hard life of peasants
Rather - Revolutionary oppposition
Fast - Failure of govt, to intro reforms
Death - Discontented middle class
Esther - End of Monarchy
Wants - Warlords
Fish - Foreign intervention
Curry - CCP
They helped me quite a bit, hope it does for you too! :D
Linked pple to my blog just now, hope they don't mind cos I didn't ask them. Everybody has such nice blogskins, mine's so outdated and uncreative,..Must change. Gotta go search for a nice one now.
