I went for the meeting yesterday and guess what nobody else turned up! I was alone with the adults. But, they were really nice people. You noe, they actually bought soo many sweets, chocolates and even kuehs from Bengawan Solo to share with us cos they were expecting 25 ppl!!!
I used soo much time and effort to call ppl up the night before cos I also only knew it that day and Ethel wasn't in Singapore. Then, what, nobody turned up and they didn't even bother to tell me that they couldn't come or were sorry about it. 真是气死人了!
Anyway, there was this principal there and she was soo nice! She knew Mrs Tan and is going to tell her about us. The other ladies told me that that they were soo touched when they heard they so many girls from my school volunteered. I felt really very proud of my school at that time but I mean, what impression would you give them if only one person out of 25 people came for that meeting that was specially arranged for us?
I just hope that everybody turns up on the actual day and will be more cooperative and committed.
I have to admit that I quite angry....

Just came back from the SMSB's website (linked from Kay Minn's blog)...WOW, it's so, so, so cool! I suddenly felt so proud seeing my ex-ex-section leader, Candice was actually a section leader for so many years and was even on the committee! 好羡慕,好佩服哦!I really feel so proud that I actually belong to a band full of soo many nice people!
k, erm,...I supposed to be doing homework....sigh!I think now I'll just have to look forward to the December Hols instead. I want to go help out in the library again. It's quite fun.
Oh ya, just now, in the afternoon, I sort of fell asleep on the sofa but was woken up by this loud roaring noise. Guess what was it? It was actually those 'fighter planes' preparing for National Day, it happens always, every year. It got soo loud that I had to cover my ears. For an instant, It sounded like 世界末日!

It was the lasy day of the LTC...I wasn't thinking very much. So, after taking some pictures of wooshie for memories...I threw it down the bin. It was only last night when jie jie asked to see it that I realised that I could have just emptied the egg and kept that shell! Ahhh! So stupid of me... Bo-hoo...:(

For our group Sl, the 5 of us went to Jurong East Regional Library to do some shelving. The library was huge! They had four stories and soo many escalators. Joyce and I went to the kids department in the basement and they rest went to the english and chinese fiction. We were lucky to be with the kids. I mean, the librarians there were all really friendly and I think because it's the kids , they don't really care if we sit down half-way or not. The shelving was quite enjoyable, at first and we finished one whole trolley quite fast. But, then we were given the pre-schoolwork books. Woah! They had sooo many different kinds and the books were really heavy! We finally got so tired and bored, that Joyce and I actually just for a few minutes sat down and started reading some of the books. Erm, I have to admit that reading the books was much, much more interesting than shelving them.
lunchtime was only 30 minutes...sooo little. I guess, it's because there's a shopping mall nearby that's why the lunchtime's so short. We had to make do with it; we didn't have a choice. So, we went to McDonald's to eat.
Oh, I remember a few cute little boys we met in the library. They all wanted to find some Harry Potter, Star Wars and Usbourne puzzle books so being very sweet jie jies, Joyce and I tried to help them. Oh ya, we also saw this lady who looked so much like Mrs Teo, she even talks like her! She came with this reading list and asked us how to find the books So I told her. I think Joyce was little surprised how I knew that the books were arranged according to the author's name. Haha, we learnt it during library lessons in primary school. They were considered useless and boring, but, hey look, it does come in handy sometimes, right! I have got to thank Mrs SH Tan for teaching me that! Haha!
We did it from 10am to 4pm--- 6 hours!!! But it was worth it. Although it was indeed tiring and all that, I mean, I felt like doing it again! Ar least, it's in and air-conditioned environment not under the hot sun. :) And, I'm just glad we finished our CIP. Now, it's for the reflections, we're doing a scrapbook. We brought our cameras but forgot to take photos so we're doodling a bit!

Today was the third day of camp. I didn't expect it to be so much fun!I mean, it's suppose to be like serious, serious kind of stuff like 'leadership' right? But anyway, I really enjoyed myself. We were each given a paper bag filled with goodies that had a meaning behind them, For example, the little candle represented that something like leaders should be like the light of role model to their followers. We had also had other things like a smiley face rubber ball, clapper, a yellow smiley star keychain etc.
Mr and Mrs Bava were invited to be our speaker and games coordinator too. The games were really fun. The rope game was the most challenging; we were all blind-folded and holding the rope we were supposed to like form triangles or squares. We met some difficulties along the way but when we did it the second time, we were sort of more organized! It was really amusing too to watch the other team trying to figure out where they are and all that!
I think the best part of the camp would be havint two tea breaks and lunch and also the freedom the eat sweets whenever we wanted!Wo-hoo!
Oh, we were given baby eggys to look after too. It's suppose to teach us responsibility. We got the decorate them and all that, it was interesting. And, in case, 'someone' dies, a funeral had to be arranged and a new baby eggy adopted! Ha Ha!Somebody's egg got confiscated today and to get it back, we made her sing that"muack-muack" song like in the superstar auditions. It was hilarious!

hmm...jie jie went to Malaysia too today. Didn't get to say bye bye to her; I was to sleepy to get up. Did some math homework and knitting in the morning. The radio kept me company.
Band was okay. We went through the programme for the Istana and Sentosa performance.
Flyers. I was on the overhead bridge when I saw three people standing at the school gate; two women and one men. They were giving out some flyers thing as students went in and came out. The first thing that cane to my mind was: " Hey this is a school; by standing at the gate like that giving out flyers, isn't in a little too much? I think I might even consider it as harrassment! And, that guy, he was actually smoking. Air-polluter!" I didn't really know why, but I felt really angry at that point . So, I decided to go the long way. But, half way I met this lady, she asked me for the entrance as the other side gate, I think was locked. The lady was probably here to take the ACCA exam or some thing. I decided to bring her to the one with the three strangers. I had no choice; the other one was locked. Hmph, when one of the three strangers tried to hand me one flyer I ignored her. I just couldn't stand it! Grit teeth. I hope they won't be there on Wednesday.
K? Enough of anger-venting. My stomach's growling, gotta eat dinner!

Sigh, sigh, sigh! Just now, I typed soo much then jie jie tripped over the wire and then the internet got disconnected! So frustrating.
I was talking about missing buses. Wait, I'll let you see the full story in a few moments time. Let me retell or rather retype my story. I went to church alone today because Mummy and Amelia went to Malaysia, and jie jie stayed home to study. During Sunday school, we talked about modesty and dressing appropriately---this was emphasized throughout the whole lesson. I agree with the article Uncle Victor ( Sunday school teacher) gave us the last time; we girls should take responsibility in dressing appropriately to help our brothers in Christ not to sin -- lust. (erm... do I sound like some holy, holy person? I am just only trying to say how I feel.)
Jie jie is angry now because she can't use the computer. Who asked her to get the internet disconnected?
Okay, getting back on track, after church, I walked to the bus-stop, keeping my eyes peeled for the buses, or kind of. But, the buses, oh the buses, they didn't wait for me! ( my heart sings a lonely, sad tune.)So let's count, in total, 3 buses drove past me because I didn't flag them down in time. Okay, so this is my fault. I tried to like smarten a little a bit but still to no avail! This time, I think I almost jumped up to flagged the 2 buses but those drivers, they looked away and drove past! Arrgghh!!!
In the end, I finally managed to get on the bus. Thank you, kind-bus-driver-who-stopped-for-me. I had lunch alone; oh, it was sooo lonely. Not that I didn't eat alone before but Sunday lunches were usually eaten with family...
Okay, I better faster publish this post or else the thing gets diconnected again; I don't want to retype!

For the first time in my history, I woke up at 11am yesterday--sooo late! But, who can I blame and anyway, I kind of deserve it. With band practices 3 times a week and all those project meetings,I think my holiday is only just waking up late, that's all! Arrgghh! I must try to finish at least half of my homework by the end of next week, or else, I'm sure to die... :(

I've set up a blog! Wo-hoo! The whole procedure was quite easily, surprisingly, I thought these kind of computer things would be very complicated. The main reason for having a blog was for my chinese homework... ;/ Anyway, I'm really looking forward to blogging; and in chinese too!-- I wonder how it'll look like?
