Watched TNT's production of macbeth on monday. it was nice. I took the bus there, luckily I asked the bus uncle or else I would have gotten lost...;( I was a little worried that there won't be anybody I knew there, so lonely. but found tammy and dorothy and sat with them, lois and wai jean were in the front row. overall, I enjoyed the play, especially waiting for the actors to say all those famous speeches. Be the innocent flower but the serpent underneath, false face must hide what flase heart doth know, there's no art to find the mind's construction in the face. see, at least in shows that I paid attention during lit lessons.haha! But, the porter scene was quite, erm, what should I say,...it made me feel uncomfortable. shan't elaborate. I just don't like that particular scene. it's supposed to inject humour in the play,.. but I didn't think it was worth laughing, at all. Not offence, though.
It was a great experience, overall. At least I got a chance to see a real play. Lights, atmosphere, music and all that. The acting was superb.
changeme.
