outing @ sentosa
went to sentosa on saturday. we had a combined prefects' outing with SAS....it was fun except that i'm quite hopeless with ball games. So when we played captain's ball and soccer, i chose to observe, ya, i'd rather watch. It's not that I don't have sportsmanship,..but I just can't play. We did some serious stuff too. Like discussing the various problems we had in our schools and tried to think up solutions to the problems.
I thought that the outing was very well-planned. Not only did we get to interact a lot with SAS and build the relationship between both schools, I've got to remember some birthdays too! I'm not exactly that kind with remembers birthdays and all that stuff very well...haha. overall, i'm glad i got tanned. i think i'm just a lil' too fair.
5-day combined church camp.
there's this camp coming up and I'm sooo excited about it. ive always envied other countries where the kids have like three weeks of camp?! can't wait. 5 whole days of camp! And, I heard that sonicedge is coming down to play too. heard them before in school, quite good. is this cool or what? :) I just found out that Joyce is going to this camp too! yeah!I'll start counting down!
ballet rehersal
had a last rehersal yesterday. we're going to stage a performance this saturday at SCGS. I'm so excited about it! we had to paste those sequins on our costumes ourselves. i'spent almost four nights doing it! lots of effort, i must say! I'm really glad with the way it turned out, mommy and jie jie gave me some ideas, and there's a great sense of sastisfaction!
had to take a bus to rehersal yesterday, with full stage make-up, it was terribly embarrassing!!! it was a double-decker, thank goodness, i went straight upstairs before any body could see my face.
orientation 2006
went back to school for 3 days last week.had to plan for next year's amazing race. we did a trial run on the second day but too bad I couldn't participate in it cos I had band. But we sure had fun planning the games and all that! we have this station--Captain Sotong where we;re gonna let the sec ones play captain's ball with real sotongs, taukwa covered with ketchup and chilli sauce and watermelon slices? grossed out yet? the groups will be judged on the level of deformity of their items. can;t wait to see how it turns out next yearwhen they really play it!
ok, gotta go now. jie jie's turn to use the computer. going to watch the macbeth play later. bet it's gonna be really nice!:D
